We are thrilled to announce that Maleah McMorrow and Caden Zasada have been selected to attend the prestigious USA Hockey National Camp! This is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
About the USA Hockey National Camp:
The USA Hockey Player Development Camps provide a unique opportunity for the nation’s top young players in the 15, 16, and 17-year-old age groups. Participants receive age-appropriate, high-level on- and off-ice training from elite instructors, while also competing against peers from across the country.
Players earn invitations to these camps through standout performances at state and district-level competitions, making the selection process highly competitive. These camps not only help participants further hone their skills but also prepare them for future opportunities by equipping them with tools and insights to elevate their game throughout the coming season and beyond.
Additionally, the USA Hockey Player Development Camps serve as a key evaluation stage for players aiming to represent the United States in international tournaments and events, including the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament, and the Women’s National Festival in Lake Placid, New York.
A Legacy of Excellence:
Since the camps began in 1977, they have been instrumental in shaping the careers of countless future Olympians and professional players. For Maleah and Caden, this selection is a milestone that puts them on the path to even greater achievements in the world of hockey.
We look forward to watching their continued growth and success as they represent our community and pursue their hockey dreams on a national stage. Congratulations once again to Maleah McMorrow and Caden Zasada!
