CGHA offers two (2) options to process payment via online registration. Pay in full & auto-payment plan. If paying by installments, your credit card (or checking account) will be automatically charged on the 15th of every month. (9/15, 10/15, 11/15, 1/15 & 2/15)

Once selected, these options can not be changed after checking out.

*All 1st Grade Boys/Girls Mites (8U) / Girls 8U eligible players will sign up at the Mite Tier 1 level. All 2nd and 3rd Grade Boys/Girls Mites (8U) / Girls 8U eligible players will have additional fee(s) added via Sports Engines PowerPay upon making a Tier 3 or Tier 4 team. (i.e. Player makes a Tier 3 team: $100 increase will be added with payment options via PowerPay.)

Note: Due to the holidays Cottage Grove Hockey Association has made the decision to not put added financial stress in the month of December and has adjusted final payment until February 2025.

Processing Fee(s)

Sportsengine charges online processing fees of (3.25% + $1.50) per payment will be added to the amount of each order. The customer will be responsible to pay the full fee amount along with their first payment and the organization will collect the full order amount.

CGHA Scholarship(s)

CGHA recognizes the cost of participation in youth sports and the financial burden that it places on families. For the 2024-2025 season, CGHA is able to offer scholarship to support families who want their child(ren) to continue experiencing youth hockey, but may not have the financial means to do so.

Given the low cost of our Mite/8U programs, financial assistance is limited to players at the traveling levels Squirt/10U Girls and above.
Total dollar amount of scholarship awards given, nor the number of applications accepted, can be guaranteed. It is estimated for applications that are accepted, awards per player will range from $200 to $500, with a per family maximum of $1,000.
The final available budget towards CGHA scholarship(s) will depend upon
- 1) funds raised during CGHA-wide fundraisers - golf tournament, etc.
- 2) Final registration numbers

The criteria used and the relative weighting to evaluate the applications and determine the awards will be as follows:

Financial need (40%)
Number of children on a traveling team - Squirt/10U and above (20%)
Community involvement: volunteering, participation in other youth sports, etc. (20%)
Other circumstances as noted in the application (20%)

Applications will be accepted through Saturday, October 1st, with decisions for awards to be made shortly thereafter. Please submit completed applications to Budget Director at budgetdirector@cghockey.com by or before the deadline.
