Mites CGHA Equipment Check Out

2025-2026 – Regular season check out

Date: Sunday, October 5th from 10:00am - 1:00pm

Where: Cottage Grove Ice Arena - West rink meeting room

Who: Mini-mites, Mites, Girls 8U

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • ALL PLAYERS MUST BE PRESENT AND FULLY REGISTERED FOR THE 2025/2026 SEASON TO RECEIVE EQUIPMENT 
  • Bring your smart phone with you!
  • Please know that we may not be able to outfit your child with ALL equipment needed, i.e. due to sizing and inventory.
  • Know your login for SportsEngine
  • Electronic payment authorization will be taken at the time of checkout. (VISA/Mastercard/Discover)
  • Your patience is appreciated as our program has grown and we have a lot of kids to outfit.
  • If you need to exchange sizes please come later in the day

What to Expect:

  1. Player will check in with the Welcome Volunteer to confirm the player is fully registered 
  2. Player will be guided through each equipment station to be fitted and issued their equipment.  *Players should wear the clothing they will be wearing for their season play to ensure proper fit
  3. Parent/Guardian will login on to cghockey.com website to check out the equipment by entering the necessary information for each item
  4. Player will work with volunteer to confirm the items being borrowed and complete the equipment check out process

Equipment Requirements:

  • CGHA Provides: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Breezers, Shin Pads, Skates. Socks and Jerseys will be provided by their coach
  • Parents Provide: Neck guard, mouthguards, jock/cup, sticks

Recommendation: Players should wear lightweight clothing under their gear during the season

Cottage Grove Hockey Association is proud to offer two (2) industry leading youth equipment programs;

  1. Mite Equipment Program: a top to bottom equipment program for our boys mini-mite - mite and girls 4,5,6,& 8U players.  Last season CGHA successfully outfitted over 200+ skaters.
  2. Goalie Equipment Program: which offers goalie equipment to as many goalies as it can outfit at the Traveling levels (Squirt / Girls 10u and up).  Additionally the goalie equipment program has successfully outfitted every Mini-Mite & Mite level teams with one (1) set of goalie equipment to be used and shared amongst the team as outlined by our hockey & goalie committee.
