During hockey registration there were two options provided and you had to choose one in order to continue registering for the season.  If you would like to change options and either opt/in or out please e-mail fundraising@cghockey.com prior to November 8, 2024 and let me know.

Families have two(2) options:

1.    Purchase the Fifteen (15) Raffle Calendars for $150 to sell to family and friends.

2.    Opt-out of calendar sales and pay $100 (Charged at time of registration).

How the Calendar Sale Works:

Each participating FAMILY will be given a minimum of fifteen (15) CGHA Raffle calendars to sell at a value of $10 ea. ($150 Total) that they will have to pay for up front.  They will then sell each calendar for $10 and retain the money.  Gambling laws require that the money be collected prior to you receiving your calendars to sell, and it must be in CASH.

The buyer of the calendar will fill out the information stub (raffle ticket) on the back of the calendar and return it to the seller.  Make sure they print legibly!  Sellers will collect the stubs as they sell the calendars and submit them to their team manager or a member of the Fundraising team at scheduled pick-up times.  These MUST be turned in before the end of December, 2024.

On  Saturday, January 18, 2025 (starting at 11:30am) at Carbone's Kitchen & Pub of Cottage Grove, all 365 winners will be drawn, people need not be present to win, but it is a good time to come out and support local businesses and the hockey association.

Cash prizes for each day range from $25 to $1000.  If their number is drawn, they win the amount for that day and their number will be put back in the drawing.  They will have multiple chances to win.  Checks will then be mailed out to the winners the following month.

There is a contest for the family that sells the most calendars.  The family that sells the most calendars will receive $500, second most receives $250, and third place will receive $100.

Families can receive additional calendars to sell by picking them up at the arena during designated pick-up times or by contacting a member of the fundraising team.  They must pay for them at time of pick up in cash.

Families can also request additional raffle calendars by contract our fundraising director, Andrea Erickson at fundraising@cghockey.com.

We realize that fundraising is not always enjoyable, and some teams do additional fundraising for their teams.  However, this is a necessary raffle in order to raise funds to help CG hockey grow and be sustainable.
