Coach’s/Manager’s Message

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Minnesota Hockey as imposed a $400.00 entry fee for teams in the state tournament. I only found out about it last week and have been trying to get Cottage Grove Hockey Association to pay for it. They have decided they will not pay the fee so we will have to. This means I will need another $28.60 per player so we can cover the cost. So if you have not yet given me the final payment of $180.00 it will now be $208.60 and if you have I will just need the $28.60. Again I’m sorry for the short notice but the association just got back to me yesterday on this.

Also there will be no state banquet this year per MN hockey.
State tournament will be held in Edina at Braemar Arena.
Our first game at state will be 3/19 at 6:00pm vs Edina.
Players must be at rink 1 hour before game time



Greetings, we are looking forward to a fun day of hockey this Saturday in New Richmond! We made reservations at a restaurant for brunch between games. They are setting up tables for the players and coaches. Parents can come as well, there will be some other tables in the restaurant; we are trying to make this a team oriented day as much as we can. The restaurant is Next Door Cafe and their address is 206 S. Knowles Ave. New Richmond, WI 54017. See everyone tonight!


March Calendar has been updated with practices and games. Also State Tournament dates have been added. Please check calendar and take appropriate action to get the time off of work.It is MANDATORY that all players and coaches attend the State Banquet.
