First off, welcome and thank you for your time and assistance with an important role of TEAM MANAGER!

This page & supporting articles were put together to help you get started managing your team.  Before we begin, from all of us who have been in this role before, you are going to go through a bit of a roller-coaster of responsibilities.  At the beginning of the year, you will be very busy.  Between getting forms filled out, tournaments and district games scheduled the workload is very high (Traveling Teams). There are a bunch of us that have gone through this already, and we're always willing to help you, so when in doubt, find an experienced manager at your level and consult with them on any issues that you have.  

In addition, Team Managers are required by USAHockey, Minnesota Hockey, & Cottage Grove Hockey Association to;

1. REGISTER with USAHockey & CGHA (Free)
2. Submit to a BACKGROUND SCREENING ($30)
3. Complete the SAFESPORT Training (Free)
