The Minnesota Wild have a new tradition and are inviting fans around the State of Hockey to bring the water from their rinks, lakes and ponds and add that to Our Ice.  Every game the Wild invite one fan to represent that tradition.  Cottage Grove Hockey association Mite 3 Advanced Black was asked to bring water from your favorite place and pour that water directly on the ice from the home bench in a pre-game ceremony.

The team decided together to bring ice from Cottage Grove Ice Arena!  On Sunday 11.19  Mite 3 Advanced Black as a team will be gathering Ice from West, South, & North sheets of Ice from Cottage Grove Ice Arena.  This water will be added to Minnesota Wild's home Ice at the Xcel Energy Center during a pre-game ceremony on 11.20 when the Wild host New Jersey Devils.  Although only one representative will be at the Xcel energy center they will be representing not only their team (Mite 3 Advanced Black) but also Cottage Grove Hockey Association.
