REFUND POLICY

CGHA formal refund policy applies when a registered player wishes to withdraw from the program.  This policy was adopted with consideration that Minnesota Hockey requires its affiliates to have a consistent refund policy and that the CGHA incurs costs almost immediately after a player is registered. Many of these costs are not refundable to CGHA by the district or USA Hockey; therefore, we cannot refund them to the player.

Once a decision to withdraw is made, it is the member’s responsibility to complete this Player Withdrawal Form (link below).

There will be a minimum charge of $50.00 subtracted from the Registration Fee on all withdrawals.

  • If withdrawal takes place during pre-season clinics, an additional $50 will be deducted.
  • Once tryouts have started, NO refunds of Registration Fees will be issued.
  • Injured players are responsible for their ice and team expenses during the time of their injury, unless they withdraw for the season. Players withdrawing will only be responsible for expenses up to the time of injury.
